    1. Think it will be awhile. But...I went to the stitch group tonight and one of the ladies told me she is a framer for JoAnn's and she would love to work on some of my pieces. I haven't been too thrilled with some of the pieces I had framed at the Michael's in Manassas. Weren't stretched tight enough and looked sort of droopy. I took the last piece into the Michael's in Woodbridge and that was done beautifully. Come to find out the young girl that framed my piece at the Woodbridge Michael's was trained by the lady that works at JoAnn's and is in the stitching group. She told me that in addition to pinning she also laces them, which many places don't do. Plus she said JoAnn's honors all competitors coupons.

  2. I'm truly amazed at how fast a stitcher you are! Finding a good, dependable framer is as important as finding a good hair lady. Not having one, here where I live now, has forced me to attempt my own framing on some items & into finishing more as pillows.

    1. Oh and the ladies at the stitching group told me they "hated me'" of course in a kind loving way when I told them it took me five weeks and a day. I should measure this because it really is a very large sampler. But I couldn't wait to get back home and stitch on it because it was so pretty.

  3. Amen! There are lots of independent framers and also my LNS frames. But they are so expensive! Not that framing is cheap by any means. But I always wait for sales and coupons. Some of my souvenir and take along projects I have framed myself. But even then finding a frame that is deep enough to hold the fabric and glass can be a real challenge.

    1. Pam, have you tried Total Framing in Fairfax/Chantilly? They are fabulous and have great sales throughout the year. If you would like more information (or to see some of their work), please email me.

  6. Beautiful stitching and quite a stitching accomplishment! I've been searching for this chart and was wondering if you could tell me where you found it?

    1. Penny I just found out the designer is going to reprint this chart. But only 18 copies. Call Attic Needleworks in Mesa Arizona and put your name on the list!

  7. Penny this chart is out of print. So sad as there has been a lot of interest in it since I shared it on FB. I already willed my chart to someone else. Bout the only way you'll be able to get it if someone downsizes their stash, or sells their used chart on eBay. Check it daily as you never know. I finally laid my hands on an out of print chart by checking eBay daily. It finally appeared and I blew my cross stitch budget for a month just on the chart alone.
